BI Process Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a BI Process Engineer to become the operational backbone of our Business Intelligence team. You will ensure the quality, consistency, and integrity of BI outputs across the platform while driving robust, well‑documented, and scalable processes.

Key responsibilities

• Execute QA and testing for dashboard releases, validating data accuracy, functionality, and design standards.
• Author and maintain repeatable test cases, log defects, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues before go‑live.
• Apply and uphold KPI, metric, and reporting standards, flagging inconsistencies and escalating when needed.
• Support documentation of BI processes, best practices, and governance frameworks.
• Monitor dashboard and data performance, identifying degradation or anomalies.
• Maintain operational health of the BI platform, including content organization, access hygiene, and lifecycle management of published assets.
• Collaborate with the BI Development Team to align QA activities with the release pipeline.
• Liaise with data teams to flag upstream data quality issues.

Required profile

• Experience working with BI tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL for data querying, validation, and quality checking.
• Solid understanding of data structures and data flow to trace quality issues.
• Experience in dashboard/report performance tuning.
• Proficiency in Python for building operational workflows and automation.
• Working knowledge of QA methodologies and structured testing approaches.
