Billing & AR Accountant – Parental Leave Cover

About the role

Veriff is looking for a Billing & AR Accountant to cover a parental leave. You will join a fast‑growing finance team that supports data‑driven decision‑making and helps keep the internet safe.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Senior Revenue Accountant to ensure timely billing and accurate revenue recognition.
• Own the ‘Sales to Cash’ process: generate and distribute invoices, match incoming bank payments.
• Manage Accounts Receivable, communicate with internal stakeholders and customers, and resolve related issues.
• Conduct credit‑control activities, including structured follow‑ups on outstanding balances.
• Produce periodic reports on AR management and perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Process and review purchase invoices, card transactions, and expense reports for approval.
• Support month‑end closing procedures and ad‑hoc finance projects.
• Respond to queries, resolve discrepancies by collecting and analysing information.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in finance/accounting or a final‑year accounting student.
• Fluent written and spoken English with strong communication skills.
• Good understanding of accounting rules and regulations.
• Detail‑oriented mindset combined with the ability to generalise.
• Can‑do attitude, able to prioritise and deliver solutions.
• Collaborative team spirit and ability to work independently.
