Corporate Finance Manager

About the role

Finom is seeking a Corporate Finance Manager to join its fast‑growing Corporate Finance team. Reporting directly to the VP of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in building and defending regulatory financial models that underpin the company’s licensing journey across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain regulatory and licensing financial models for banking, payment institution and EMI applications, covering P&L, balance sheet, capital and liquidity projections.
• Defend model assumptions and outputs during regulator reviews and adapt them as the business evolves.
• Support strategic corporate finance initiatives, including business cases, board and investor materials, and M&A transactions.
• Partner with senior leadership on capital planning, own‑funds requirements, and safeguarding obligations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure financial data integrity and alignment with regulatory expectations.

Required profile

• Strong background in corporate finance, financial modelling, or regulatory finance within a fintech or banking environment.
• Experience handling licensing applications (banking licence, payment institution, EMI) and interacting with regulators.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage complex projects, and communicate findings to senior stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical mindset with a focus on accuracy and detail.

Required skills

• Financial modelling for regulatory purposes.
• Understanding of capital adequacy, liquidity, and safeguarding frameworks.
• Knowledge of M&A financial analysis and corporate finance documentation.
