Electrical Designer – RUPLAN (Power Systems)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Power Systems Designer to join our team delivering power substation and GIS/AIS switchgear projects for energy sector clients. The role focuses on designing medium‑ and high‑voltage installations using the RUPLAN design tool and ensuring all technical documentation meets client and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design GIS/AIS switchgear systems and medium‑ and high‑voltage substations.
• Prepare electrical schematics, technical documentation, and detailed design deliverables with RUPLAN.
• Coordinate and execute power engineering projects from bidding through final documentation delivery.
• Maintain project documentation in compliance with applicable standards and client requirements.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary project teams and stakeholders throughout all project phases.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Hands‑on experience with RUPLAN and/or Engineering Base software.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power engineering documentation and schematics.
• Good command of English or German for technical communication.
