Finance Regulatory & Statistical Reporting Expert

About the role

As a Finance Regulatory & Statistical Reporting Expert you will join the Baltic Finance Statutory & Regulatory Excellence team at SEB. You will act as the subject‑matter expert for Lithuanian regulatory and statistical reporting, with the possibility to expand responsibilities across the Baltic region.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and interpret new or changed laws and regulations, determining their impact on reporting obligations, methodologies and processes.
• Drive implementation of new reporting requirements together with Finance Development, External Reporting and other stakeholder teams.
• Own and maintain internal regulatory reporting policies, methodologies and instructions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with regulators, auditors, SEB Group functions and other key stakeholders.
• Strengthen reporting governance, internal controls and risk‑management frameworks within assigned reporting areas.
• Lead responses to inquiries and ad‑hoc requests from local and EU authorities.
• Contribute to audits and regulatory reviews as the reporting subject‑matter expert.

Required profile

• Higher education in finance, economics, mathematics or business management.
• Proven experience in financial, regulatory, statistical or supervisory reporting, audit or interpretation of financial regulations.
• Strong expertise in reporting regulations, financial reporting principles and regulatory expectations.
• Understanding of banking products and reporting processes, or ability to acquire such knowledge quickly.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
