International Marine Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking an International Marine Project Manager to lead complex shipbuilding, conversion and retrofit projects across Europe. The role involves overseeing the full project lifecycle from concept through commissioning, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage international marine engineering, shipbuilding, conversion and retrofit projects from concept to commissioning.
• Lead multidisciplinary, multicultural project teams and coordinate engineering, procurement, production, subcontractors, suppliers and clients.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets and resource plans.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with contractual, technical, quality and HSE requirements.
• Coordinate engineering activities, technical documentation and design reviews.
• Support commissioning, testing and final handover.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Prepare regular project reports for management and customers.
• Travel internationally as required to support project execution.

Required profile

• Degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience in marine engineering, shipbuilding, conversion or retrofit projects.
• Experience managing complex international engineering projects.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of HVAC systems within the marine industry.
• Experience with commissioning activities.
• Experience preparing and handling technical documentation.
