Java Software Developer – Customer Engagement Solutions

About the role

SEB is looking for a Software Developer to join the Customer Engagement Solutions team. You will help implement secure, beneficial customer‑servicing solutions for the bank.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and improve team‑owned applications and integrations.
• Translate business and technical requirements into practical software solutions.
• Write and maintain automated tests while contributing to code quality.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, analysts, testers and other stakeholders.
• Contribute to technical decisions, code reviews and knowledge sharing within the team.

Required profile

• Hands‑on professional experience developing backend applications with Java.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs, integrations or middleware.
• Experience writing and maintaining automated tests.
• Good understanding of clean code and secure software development practices.
• Ability to solve technical problems independently and take ownership of work.
• Fluency in English to work effectively with colleagues across the Baltics.
