Mechanical Quality Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Quality Engineer to oversee the quality control of mechanical systems installations on a construction project in Estonia. You will work closely with construction managers, technical supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure that all mechanical works meet design, regulatory, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quality control inspections of HVAC, water supply, and wastewater system installations on site.
• Inspect equipment, materials, and documentation such as certificates and declarations.
• Identify defects, record findings, prepare reports, and supervise corrective actions.
• Collaborate with construction managers, technical supervision engineers, and subcontractors.
• Review and maintain as‑built documentation.
• Ensure compliance with design documentation, regulatory requirements, technical specifications, and quality standards.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in a similar role on construction sites, preferably with quality control or technical supervision responsibilities.
• Knowledge of HVAC, water supply, wastewater and other mechanical installation technologies.
• Understanding of construction regulations, quality standards and occupational health and safety requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret technical designs and working drawings.
• Strong organizational skills, responsibility and attention to detail.
• Good command of English for working in an international team.
