Operations and Maintenance Engineer – EV Charging Network

About the role

Ignitis Group is expanding its public electric‑vehicle charging network in Estonia and needs a proactive Operations and Maintenance Engineer. You will own the technical maintenance, ensure seamless operation, and keep the assets in excellent condition.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain and diagnose faults in charging stations and related monitoring systems.
• Organise and coordinate contractors, guaranteeing timely and quality‑focused task completion.
• Carry out scheduled inspections of equipment and systems within budget.
• Configure and manage equipment to maximise uptime while meeting partner and customer expectations.
• Analyse failures, identify root causes and propose infrastructure improvements.
• Maintain spare‑parts inventory, oversee warehouse stock and coordinate logistics.
• Prepare technical documentation, work‑completion reports and acceptance acts.

Required profile

• Vocational or higher education in construction, engineering, energy or a related technical field.
• Minimum 1 year experience with installation or operation of electrical, automation, telecommunications or HVAC systems.
• Proven ability to develop structured maintenance plans for large‑scale technical assets.
• Valid B‑category driving licence and willingness to travel across Estonia.
• Fluent in written and spoken Estonian and English.
• Analytical, practical and highly organised with a proactive “can‑do” attitude.
