Senior AI Product Builder (Talent Pool)

About the role

Wrike is creating a new talent track for senior engineers who can take a vague idea and turn it into a production‑ready feature. This role is fully autonomous, AI‑native, and focused on delivering end‑to‑end solutions for a platform used by thousands of teams worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Translate ambiguous product concepts into concrete technical plans by consulting the right stakeholders.
• Design, build, test, and ship full‑stack features covering Java/Spring back‑end, REST APIs, SQL data layers, and modern front‑end technologies.
• Navigate and improve a large, living codebase, deciding what to reuse, refactor, or replace.
• Apply AI tools (Cursor, Claude, Codex, internal AI portal, MCP) daily to accelerate development and create custom automations.
• Identify and mitigate technical debt, anticipate second‑order effects, and make trade‑off decisions independently.
• Challenge AI‑generated suggestions and product requirements when they do not hold up.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering end‑to‑end features in a senior capacity.
• Comfort operating autonomously in a fast‑moving, production environment.
• Strong judgment in balancing technical debt against delivery speed.
• Ability to question AI output and product assumptions critically.

Required skills

• Java (modern versions) and Spring framework.
• RESTful API design and implementation.
• SQL and relational database experience.
• TypeScript and React (v19) front‑end development.
• Micro‑frontend architecture, Module Federation.
• Legacy Dart component knowledge.
• Proficiency with AI development tools such as Cursor, Claude, Codex, and internal AI platforms.
