Senior Product Designer

About the role

Katana is looking for a Senior Product Designer to lead the design of its AI‑driven product experiences. You will own the end‑to‑end design of the Katana AI assistant, from research and prototyping to production and post‑launch metrics, working closely with engineers, product managers and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full design lifecycle of the in‑product Katana AI experience, including trust layers, confirm‑before‑write safeguards, permissions, audit trails and undo functionality.
• Design conversational interfaces that explain AI answers, surface confidence levels and guide users to corrective actions.
• Shape proactive insight delivery (stock‑outs, margin slips, supplier delays) without overwhelming users.
• Define and iterate on AI connectors for external tools such as Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini, influencing the experience without controlling the host UI.
• Conduct user research to validate problems, set KPIs and measure the impact of design decisions on key business metrics.

Required profile

• Senior‑level product designer with a track record of owning complex, data‑heavy features from concept to production.
• Comfortable working in fast‑paced, AI‑first SaaS environments and delivering prototypes within days.
• Strong advocacy for users, able to argue design decisions in roadmap discussions and measure outcomes.
• Willingness to work hybrid from Tallinn, with office days Tuesday‑Thursday and flexibility on other days.
