Senior Security Engineer (Data Platform)

About the role

Join Luminor Group as a Senior Security Engineer focused on data platforms. You will combine security architecture with hands‑on implementation to protect modern data environments across cloud and on‑premise systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement security controls for AWS, SaaS and on‑prem data platforms.
• Build automated guardrails using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CDK).
• Integrate security checks into CI/CD pipelines, including IaC scanning and secrets detection.
• Perform threat modelling, security reviews and support audits.
• Enhance logging, monitoring and detection capabilities for data workloads.
• Collaborate with data engineers, platform teams and risk owners to embed security‑by‑default practices.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on security engineering experience with an architectural mindset.
• Practical expertise in AWS security services such as IAM, KMS, S3 and logging.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CDK) and DevSecOps pipelines.
• Ability to script and automate tasks using Python or Bash.
• Excellent communication skills in English and a pragmatic approach to problem solving.
