Senior Systems Engineer – Expat (Estonia)

About the role

L3Harris Communications & Spectrum Dominance is seeking a Senior Specialist Systems Engineer to support the Ministries of Defence in Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia. Based in Tallin, the role involves modernising defence communications using L3Harris Mission Critical Communications (MCC) products and ensuring operational integrity of radio systems across tactical command structures.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical liaison with MoD customers for modernising defence communications systems.
• Develop and validate system architectures that meet C4ISR requirements and support voice and data over multiple radio frequencies.
• Lead design, integration, testing, fielding and maintenance activities for MCC radio products and MANET waveforms.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary internal teams and external MoD stakeholders across Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia.
• Provide technical support during deployment and conduct regional travel as required.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in systems engineering or architecture for defence communications.
• Proven ability to manage complex technical discussions with senior military customers.
• Strong understanding of C4ISR concepts and tactical radio networks.
• Willingness to work on a 2‑year fixed‑term assignment abroad.
