Senior Tax Accounting and Compliance Associate

About the role

Bolt is looking for a Senior Tax Accounting and Compliance Associate to join its Group Tax function. Working closely with the Senior Tax Accounting and Compliance Manager, you will manage day‑to‑day tax accounting and compliance for a portfolio of entities across more than 55 jurisdictions, gaining broad exposure to international tax accounting in a high‑growth multinational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own tax account reconciliations for current and prior years, including return‑to‑provision work and adjustments.
• Prepare tax notes and disclosures for the Group’s consolidated financial statements and coordinate year‑end and interim reporting packages.
• Prepare and review corporate income tax (CIT) return inputs with local advisers, maintain compliance calendars, cash tax records, and audit‑ready documentation.
• Support tax audits, coordinate responses with internal experts, and assist local transfer pricing filings.
• Conduct entity‑level effective tax rate (ETR) analysis, investigate deviations and provide clear root‑cause summaries.
• Contribute to internal tax reporting cycles, cash tax forecasting, ETR forecasting, and budgeting.
• Participate in process improvement and tax technology initiatives as the function scales.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in tax accounting, corporate income tax compliance, and audit support.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate variances and present findings.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities to work with external auditors, local finance teams, and tax advisers.
• Detail‑oriented mindset and ability to manage multiple deadlines across jurisdictions.
