AML Compliance Consultant

About the role

SoftSwiss is seeking an AML Compliance Consultant to advise clients operating under the Estonian regulatory framework. You will design, implement and maintain anti-money-laundering programmes, acting as a trusted advisor on compliance matters.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end AML compliance consulting services for Estonian-based clients.
• Advise on the creation, maintenance and enhancement of AML policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Interpret and apply relevant AML legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor regulatory developments and suggest practical improvements.
• Prepare and review compliance documentation, risk assessments and internal procedures.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver effective compliance solutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of compliance processes and promote best practices.

Required profile

• Native or professional fluency in Estonian and English (minimum B2).
• Current residence in Estonia.
• At least 2 years of experience in AML, compliance, financial crime prevention or a related regulatory field.
• Strong knowledge of the Estonian AML regulatory framework.
• Experience developing, implementing or maintaining AML compliance programmes and policies.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Estonian AML regulations and risk-based approaches.
