Azure Data Engineer – Security Data Pipelines

About the role

This position is based in Estonia and focuses on building reliable, scalable security data pipelines across Azure cloud and on‑premises environments. You will work with high‑volume security telemetry to ensure data is ready for threat detection, incident response, compliance, and cyber‑risk reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain ingestion pipelines for SIEM, Azure Data Explorer and Log Analytics.
• Parse, normalize, transform and enrich structured and unstructured security logs using regex, JSON parsing and schema mapping.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, security and vendor teams to onboard new log sources and validate end‑to‑end data flows.
• Ensure data integrity, completeness, timeliness and quality for monitoring, detection and reporting.
• Troubleshoot ingestion, parsing, transformation and data‑quality issues across diverse platforms.
• Document onboarding procedures, data mappings, pipeline configurations and operational processes.
• Support automation, infrastructure‑as‑code and scripting initiatives to improve scalability and reliability.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with Azure data services and security telemetry.
• Strong problem‑solving skills for complex ingestion challenges.
• Ability to work in a highly regulated financial services environment.
