Quality Engineer

About the role

As a Quality Engineer at Bigbank you will help create reliable and trustworthy banking services used by hundreds of thousands of customers across multiple European markets. You will improve software quality throughout the full development lifecycle and design, develop and maintain automated testing solutions across different product layers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated testing frameworks for APIs, backend services and web/mobile applications.
• Identify risks early and improve quality practices to increase release confidence.
• Contribute to test automation coverage, quality engineering practices and a culture where quality is everyone’s responsibility.
• Collaborate closely with developers to influence how software is built and ensure reliability and scalability.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance or quality engineering.
• Strong experience with test automation frameworks and automated testing practices.
• Experience testing APIs, backend services, or modern web/mobile applications.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and agile product development.
• Analytical thinking, problem‑solving skills and clear communication.
