BESS Sales Director – Energy Storage Solutions

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Director to lead our Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) business. You will drive revenue growth by identifying new opportunities, managing key customer relationships, and delivering tailored energy storage solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet business objectives in utility‑scale, C&I, and microgrid markets.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building a robust pipeline of projects.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders, ensuring high satisfaction and repeat business.
• Stay current on BESS technology, market trends, and regulations to position our products effectively.
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to design and propose technical solutions.
• Prepare detailed proposals, conduct ROI analyses, and lead contract negotiations.
• Coordinate post‑sale project execution and provide market feedback to product development.
• Track sales performance, generate reports, and keep the CRM system up‑to‑date.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of sales experience, preferably in energy storage, renewable energy, or power systems.
• Strong understanding of BESS technology and the ability to manage complex sales cycles.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer‑service skills.
