Chief Financial Officer

About the role

We are partnering with a privately owned technology business based in Tallinn, Estonia, to recruit a Chief Financial Officer. The CFO will sit on the leadership team, report to the Managing Director, and be directly accountable to the board, overseeing the entire finance function across a global iGaming operation.

Key responsibilities

• Own unit economics, pricing, and approve material commercial terms for studios, operators, games and markets.
• Develop and maintain the budget, forecast, financial model and board‑level performance reporting.
• Manage banking relationships, liquidity, settlement infrastructure, cash conversion cycle, and policies for fiat and digital‑asset settlements.
• Oversee credit exposure, foreign‑exchange risk and capital events across licensed entities.
• Set accounting policy, prepare combined and statutory accounts, lead audit relationships, and handle transfer pricing and inter‑company architecture.
• Maintain the control framework and ensure regulatory and tax filings are completed for all entities.
• Lead the finance team, establishing operating rhythms and performance standards.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) with 15+ years of finance experience, including 5+ years in a CFO/FD/Head of Finance role with full P&L ownership.
• Strong experience in multi‑entity consolidation, carve‑out financial statements, and licensed gaming structures (MGA, Curaçao, etc.).
• Proven track record in treasury management, banking, liquidity, FX and settlement.
• Fluent English and willingness to be based in or relocate to Tallinn.
