Commercial Finance Specialist

About the role

Wolt is looking for a Commercial Finance Specialist to support the commercial and financial operations of Wolt Market. You will ensure accurate vendor payments, help with financial reporting, and collaborate with internal and external partners to boost operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Support commercial initiatives together with Category and Supply Chain teams.
• Assist with assortment planning, pricing, and supplier collaboration.
• Own vendor payment follow‑up, including GRIR monitoring and reconciliation.
• Leverage advanced AI tools (Claude, Causal) to analyse data and automate repetitive tasks.
• Work with Central Finance and Accounts Payable to meet payment SLAs.
• Represent Wolt Market on invoicing and payment topics.
• Conduct three‑way matching analysis and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate invoicing dispute resolution with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement and automation of Procure‑to‑Pay processes.
• Maintain reporting on vendor payments, inventory receivables, and procurement.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and commercial understanding.
• Hands‑on approach to operational execution in a fast‑paced environment.
• Self‑starter with entrepreneurial drive.
• Experience in finance or commercial operations within retail/e‑commerce.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AI tools such as Claude and Causal models.
• Experience in Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) systems and vendor payment processes.
• Three‑way matching and reconciliation expertise.
• Data analysis and reporting capabilities.
