About the role

Threod Systems is looking for an Electronics Engineer specialized in camera systems to join its fast‑growing defence technology division in Viimsi, Estonia. You will be responsible for designing reliable printed circuit boards and supporting the development of unmanned aerial vehicle observation platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design electronic schematics and develop production‑ready PCBs using Altium Designer.
• Validate circuit designs through simulations and functional testing.
• Create detailed manufacturing drawings, assembly instructions and maintain technical documentation.
• Develop test equipment and fixtures for PCB verification, including Bill of Materials management and ICT testing.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of camera subsystems.

Required profile

• University degree in Electronics, Mechatronics or a related engineering field.
• Minimum three years of experience in electronics product development, preferably in an interdisciplinary environment.
• Strong ability to work independently and drive projects from concept to production.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Altium Designer for schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Programming experience in C/C++ and Python.
