Lead Electronics Design Engineer

About the role

In this role you will lead the Electronics Design team in Tallinn, providing project‑level leadership for hardware solutions in vehicle electronics. You will coordinate a team of 3‑5 engineers, set technical priorities, and ensure projects meet quality, cost and deadline targets while staying hands‑on in hardware development.

Key responsibilities

• Set technical priorities based on project and business needs.
• Coordinate engineers and resources across multiple projects, clarifying responsibilities and priorities.
• Support project planning and monitor progress, deadlines, quality and costs.
• Improve working methods, tools and processes within the team.
• Collaborate with other engineering functions to resolve technical issues and keep projects moving forward.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Embedded Systems or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a technical lead, project lead or similar leadership role.
• Strong understanding of hardware and electronics development and integration with software.
• Hands‑on experience with PCB design, layout, manufacturability and hardware validation.

Required skills

• PCB design and layout tools such as DxDesigner, PADS, Altium or Siemens Xpedition.
• Knowledge of PPAP, DFMEA, APQP and 8D processes.
• Familiarity with RoHS, REACH, ISO 16750, ISO 26262 and R10 standards.
• Good English communication skills.
