Head Accountant (IFRS)

About the role

You will join a small, hands‑on finance team as the core accountant, handling day‑to‑day bookkeeping while driving IFRS reporting, audit coordination and process improvements. This is a broad, ownership‑focused role for someone who wants their work to have impact and enjoys building robust accounting foundations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS
• Produce monthly and quarterly IFRS‑based management reports
• Support the external audit process and liaise with auditors
• Manage daily invoicing, payments and payroll operations
• Prepare and file tax declarations and reports for Statistics Estonia
• Contribute to the optimisation and automation of accounting processes

Required profile

• Vocational or higher education in accounting
• High level of accuracy, structured approach and strong ownership mindset
• Excellent command of Estonian
• Comfortable working in a fast‑moving, growth‑oriented environment
• Nice to have: experience in a financial‑services company or prior work with IFRS
