Head of Data Engineering – HealthTech (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Head of Data Engineering to lead the creation of cutting‑edge HealthTech solutions. In this remote position you will turn high‑level strategy into concrete roadmaps, taking projects from prototype to production while shaping the technical direction of a brand‑new department.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute core 0‑to‑1 initiatives in the HealthTech domain.
• Translate strategic vision into detailed execution plans and timelines.
• Architect scalable data engineering solutions that support rapid growth.
• Drive critical milestones and prepare the department for potential spin‑off and institutional backing.
• Collaborate directly with the department founder and a world‑class team of engineers, researchers, and commercial leaders.

Required profile

• Based in Europe or the Americas (or open to remote/relocation arrangements).
• High‑agency, builder mindset with proven end‑to‑end ownership.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
