Junior Independence Specialist

About the role

Join EY’s Baltic Independence Team as a Junior Independence Specialist. You will support EY professionals in meeting independence requirements, ensuring audit quality and regulatory compliance across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Provide guidance on independence policies, tools, and related queries.
• Assist with independence reviews, assessments, and compliance monitoring.
• Prepare documentation for independence consultations and audits.
• Track learning completions, confirmations, and other compliance activities.
• Maintain independence systems, records, guidance materials, and internal resources.
• Develop training materials, communications, and presentations on independence topics.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the Baltics and the wider EY network on risk‑management initiatives.
• Support senior team members on ongoing independence, compliance, and ad‑hoc projects.

Required profile

• University degree (completed or in progress) in Business, Economics, Finance, Law, Accounting or a related field.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills in Estonian and English.
• Interest in compliance, risk management, technology and AI‑powered solutions.
• Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
• Proactive, eager to learn and comfortable working with diverse stakeholders.
