Managing Director – Europe & Africa

About the role

We are seeking a Managing Director for Europe & Africa to lead SPX Technologies’ AtoN business across the region. Reporting to the General Manager, you will own sales, operations and financial performance while driving profitable growth and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Europe & Africa business with full responsibility for sales, operations and financial results.
• Own the regional P&L, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.
• Develop and execute commercial strategy for established and emerging markets.
• Build and develop a high‑performing leadership team and foster a culture of accountability.
• Ensure operational excellence across manufacturing, customer service and commercial functions.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, contractors and strategic partners.
• Collaborate with the global leadership team to align regional objectives with the US‑headquartered organization.
• Bridge cultural differences and create alignment across multiple countries.

Required profile

• Proven general‑management experience with responsibility for sales, operations and finance.
• Strong commercial track record delivering profitable growth.
• Background in engineered products or technical manufacturing environments.
• Experience in industries such as marine ports, marine electronics, industrial electronics, industrial lighting or engineered industrial products.
• Experience selling through contractors, distributors or industrial channels, preferably into Africa.
• Experience working in a US‑based or global multinational organization.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to develop people and lead through change.
• Strong cultural awareness and ability to work across diverse teams.
