Product Manager – Gig Work

About the role

Cachet is building insurance infrastructure for Europe’s platform economy. The Product Manager, Gig Work will own the development of products that address the needs of workers on digital platforms, from gig and on‑demand jobs to emerging Employer of Record models and distributed digital workforces. Reporting to the Chief Product & Marketing Officer, you will work closely with engineering, commercial and insurance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own the Gig Work roadmap, deciding what gets built and in what order.
• Maintain deep understanding of the platform‑work landscape, including gig, on‑demand, EOR and digital workforce models, and the associated insurance and benefits challenges.
• Translate problems into engineering‑ready work: user stories, use cases, flows, prototypes, acceptance criteria and sequenced scope.
• Partner with Product Experience to ensure prototypes flow into design systems and engineering‑ready designs.
• Maintain operating cadence with live tracking, regular reviews and an up‑to‑date backlog.
• Own features post‑launch, measuring adoption and utility, iterating or retiring under‑performing items.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of product management experience delivering features end‑to‑end, preferably in a fast‑scaling environment.
• Strong product thinking with ability to define jobs‑to‑be‑done, shape solutions and make trade‑off decisions.
• Proven ability to create clear problem definitions and prototypes that enable rapid engineering delivery.
• Comfort setting and maintaining an operating rhythm of prioritisation, backlog management, reviews and post‑launch measurement.
• Experience thriving in a fast‑moving, founder‑led setting and excellent English communication skills.
