Programme Officer – Alumni Engagement

About the role

The Alumni Programme Officer will lead the design and delivery of DIANA’s alumni programme, supporting more than 260 dual‑use innovators after they complete the accelerator. Reporting to the Chief Adoption Officer, the role combines strategic planning with day‑to‑day operational management to build a vibrant community that helps innovators commercialise their technologies and strengthens NATO’s technological edge.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute a comprehensive alumni strategy and programme.
• Own the end‑to‑end alumni experience, including in‑person and virtual events.
• Develop a year‑round programming calendar with high participation rates.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to track alumni progress and translate insights into impact‑driving strategies.
• Implement scalable systems, processes and metrics for long‑term community growth.
• Utilise DIANA’s network of accelerator sites to support alumni innovators.
• Perform any other duties as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university in business administration, innovation management, entrepreneurship, international relations, communications or a related field.
• Relevant experience in programme or project management, preferably within innovation or defence ecosystems.
• Ability to work in a multinational, security‑sensitive environment (NATO SECRET clearance required).
