Project Finance Manager

About the role

PSI, a leading Contract Research Organization, is seeking an experienced finance professional to manage the financial aspects of clinical projects. The Project Finance Manager will oversee budgeting, contract development, and timesheet administration, ensuring accurate financial reporting throughout the study lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop study budgets for bids and change orders, tailoring them to each project's scope.
• Maintain project finance data in internal systems, prepare accrual reports, and coordinate invoice requests.
• Draft sponsor contracts, change orders, and payment schedules to align with project milestones.
• Set up and manage project‑specific timesheets, reconciling actual costs against budgeted amounts on a regular basis.

Required profile

• Proven experience in global study budgeting and contract management within a CRO or pharmaceutical environment.
• Education in Finance, Economics, or equivalent professional training.
• Strong analytical abilities with a track record of accurate financial reporting.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of training colleagues.
• Organizational and time‑management competence to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with budgeting software or tools.
• Familiarity with time‑tracking or timesheet systems.
