Project Officer, Emerging Initiatives

About the role

The Project Officer, Emerging Initiatives will support the development and delivery of new strategic projects that advance DIANA’s mission to accelerate defence innovation across the NATO Alliance. Working closely with senior leadership, the role translates Board guidance into actionable initiatives and ensures their successful implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, plan, coordinate and deliver strategic initiatives that align with DIANA’s organisational objectives.
• Administer project plans, implementation schedules, risk registers, stakeholder engagement plans and performance reporting for assigned initiatives.
• Coordinate cross‑functional activities across multiple business areas to ensure timely delivery of outcomes.
• Prepare high‑quality briefing materials, reports, presentations, decision papers and governance documentation for senior leadership, committees and the Board of Directors.
• Conduct research, analysis and environmental scanning to support the development of new programmes, services and partnerships.

Required profile

• Reports to the Head of Strategic Planning and Operations.
