QA Engineer – Manual & API Testing

About the role

Join Askend, a leading digital transformation partner in Estonia, as a QA Engineer. You will help ensure the quality of public‑sector digital services that millions rely on daily, working in a collaborative, people‑first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate on the adoption and development of testing tools, environments, and QA practices.
• Define and implement test strategies for functional, system, integration and regression testing.
• Plan, create, execute and document manual test cases and scenarios, including SQL and API testing.
• Detect, document and verify defects, and prepare comprehensive test reports.
• Work closely with analysts, developers, QA engineers and clients to deliver high‑quality solutions.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience in manual software testing.
• Systematic, analytical approach with strong communication and critical‑thinking skills.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented, team‑player who cares about client satisfaction.
• Fluent in Estonian and comfortable communicating in English.

• XML (especially for X‑Road services)
• Playwright (nice to have)
