Quality Assurance Team Lead

Join Wise’s Quality Assurance team and help build world‑class, scalable operations that keep customers safe while delivering great experiences. As a Quality Assurance Team Lead you will provide independent, expert assurance over how work is done, spotting risk, identifying control gaps, and turning insights into practical improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead by example, fostering a customer‑focused risk and compliance mindset across the team and organisation.
• Coach, develop, and manage a high‑performing QA team through regular one‑on‑ones, performance reviews, and skill‑building initiatives.
• Own operational performance, identify improvement opportunities, and drive automation and efficiency.
• Monitor resource allocation, refine SOPs, and ensure delivery of reliable QA outcomes.
• Achieve individual and team KPIs, SLAs, and OKRs while maintaining quality and speed.
• Communicate effectively, escalating blockers and proposing actions to resolve them.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in AML investigation, SAR reporting, fraud, sanctions, or KYC (EDD/CDD).
• Proven leadership ability with a track record of building high‑performing teams.
• Strong analytical judgment, attention to detail, and data‑driven decision making.
• Ability to collaborate across functions and influence consistent decision‑making.
