Senior Data Center IT Technician

About the role

Nebius is seeking a Senior Data Center IT Technician to support and maintain large‑scale GPU clusters in a high‑performance data‑center environment. The role focuses on advanced hardware troubleshooting, L1/L2 ticket handling, and collaboration with infrastructure engineers to ensure optimal uptime for AI workloads.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex hardware issues on servers and GPU clusters.
• Manage L1/L2 incidents through the ticketing system, providing timely workarounds and solutions.
• Report hardware problems to the problem‑management team and document resolutions.
• Update processes and documentation for the IT hardware team.
• Collaborate with IT infrastructure engineers and L3 technicians to improve SLA performance.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting and support tasks.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of data‑center environments and server equipment.
• Advanced experience troubleshooting IT hardware, especially high‑performance servers.
• Proficiency with Unix/Linux operating systems and command‑line tools.
• Experience in equipment monitoring, data analysis, and presenting findings.
• Proactive attitude, sense of responsibility, and high proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Bonus: advanced network equipment knowledge and a valid driving licence (type B).
