Senior GameDev Engineer (C++)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior GameDev Engineer to join the Plummy Games team and work on our live mobile title Star Merge. You will use C++ to design and implement gameplay features, technical systems, and performance improvements while integrating third‑party SDKs.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain gameplay features and technical systems in C++ using our existing tech stack.
• Improve mobile performance and stability (ANRs, crashes, memory usage, build size).
• Integrate and maintain third‑party SDKs such as ads, analytics, crash reporting, observability, and customer support.
• Debug and resolve complex production issues, including hard‑to‑reproduce bugs.
• Collaborate with designers, analysts, UA, QA, and other developers to deliver features from idea to release.
• Contribute to architecture, code quality, and tooling improvements.
• Own tasks through testing and release support.

Required profile

• 4+ years of C++ development experience in mobile games (Android/iOS).
• Background in casual mobile genres such as merge, match‑2/3, farming, or city‑building.
• Experience with game engines (in‑house/custom or Unity, Godot, Cocos2dx, Unreal Engine).
• Strong debugging skills for crashes, memory leaks, and performance problems.
• Proven ability to integrate SDKs (ads, analytics, crash reporting, customer support).
• Problem‑solving mindset, attention to detail, and focus on production stability.
• Enthusiasm for practical AI usage.
• Comfortable working remotely and communicating fluently in English.
