Senior Infrastructure DevOps Engineer

About the role

pawaTech is seeking a Senior Infrastructure DevOps Engineer to join its Infrastructure team. You will help design, build and scale modern infrastructure across on‑premise data centres and public cloud environments, improve Infrastructure as Code practices and automate operational processes while contributing to internal platform services.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable infrastructure on‑premises and in AWS/GCP.
• Enhance Infrastructure as Code practices using Terraform.
• Automate provisioning, deployments and operational workflows.
• Develop and support Kubernetes clusters and internal platform services.
• Ensure reliability, security, performance and scalability of infrastructure components.
• Work with networking components and related services.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on architecture and operational improvements.
• Participate in incident management and drive continuous automation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure or Platform Engineering.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Terraform and IaC.
• Proficiency with Linux (Ubuntu), networking and production infrastructure.
• Experience designing reliable, scalable production environments.
• Hands‑on Kubernetes and containerised workloads.
• Experience with AWS and GCP cloud platforms.
• Good understanding of scalability, redundancy and operational best practices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical decisions.

• Competitive monthly gross salary ranging from €5,800 to €6,300.
