Software Developer – Payments (Channels team)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Developer to join the Payments in Channels team at SEB in Tallinn. You will help design, develop and maintain secure payment solutions that support both internal users and external customers across our banking platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners, UX designers and the team to deliver end‑to‑end payment features for internet banking.
• Develop scalable, secure services using Java and Angular, following best practices and industry standards.
• Integrate components with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, OpenShift) and cloud storage (AWS S3).
• Contribute to requirement definition, effort estimation and smooth deployments.
• Maintain and refactor existing codebases, ensuring high quality and performance.
• Support the team in troubleshooting technical challenges and proposing optimal solutions.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative, Agile team.
• Good written and spoken English.
