Software Engineer – Frontend & Backend (m/f/d)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer (m/f/d) to join our agile product development team. You will work on building and maintaining Back Office applications for our FinTech platform.

Key responsibilities

• Drive development of various application components for the product.
• Participate in architectural design of web applications within a cross‑functional team.
• Collaborate with product owners, UX/UI designers, architects and other stakeholders to discover optimal solutions.
• Identify issues, suggest improvements, and present ideas for new features.
• Research, evaluate and recommend new technologies and concepts.
• Adapt emerging web‑application trends to enhance product quality.
• Take initiative to improve frontend quality aspects such as accessibility, performance, consistency, maintainability and robustness.
• Participate in maintenance processes (incident, problem, event management) as needed.
• Work in a distributed organization following agile processes.

Required profile

• Proven track record of successful front‑end projects with back‑end capabilities.
• Experience using REST API web services in front‑end development.
• Strong expertise in Angular and working knowledge of StencilJS.
• Ability to design and implement reusable, performant UI components.
• Highly skilled in C# and the .NET framework.
• Experience with cloud development (Azure is a plus) and event‑driven architecture.
• Knowledge of unit testing, integration testing and test automation.
• Experience working in an Agile team.
• Self‑driven, proactive attitude with strong communication skills in English.
