System Analyst / Administrator – Cards Team

About the role

Join Luminor’s Cards Team as a System Analyst / Administrator and take ownership of the end‑to‑end analysis, configuration and maintenance of the bank’s card issuing platforms. You will work closely with business stakeholders, vendors and internal engineering teams to deliver reliable, compliant and innovative card services.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and translate them into system configurations, functional specifications and technical solutions for Tieto Card Suite and related platforms.
• Configure card products, transaction processing rules, fees, limits, tokenisation, 3D Secure and other card services.
• Coordinate solution delivery across card systems, payment platforms, core banking and customer‑facing channels.
• Participate in card migration initiatives, product roll‑outs and platform transformation programmes.
• Ensure compliance with PCI DSS, PSD2, Basel III, IFRS, AML/KYC and GDPR.
• Investigate incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and drive resolution of production issues.
• Define and manage system interfaces, integrations and data flows between internal and external platforms.
• Support release planning, testing, change management and deployment coordination.
• Optimise system configurations to improve stability, performance and customer experience.
• Contribute to solution design, architectural discussions and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience with Tieto Card Suite or a strong background in the card‑issuing domain.
• Deep understanding of card lifecycle management, transaction processing and scheme requirements.
• Hands‑on experience in system analysis, solution configuration and functional design.
• Experience working with Visa and/or Mastercard is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of card migrations, platform transformations or payment modernisation programmes.
• Familiarity with Hardware Security Modules (HSM) and card‑security concepts.
• Understanding of APIs, system integrations and data flows between banking platforms.
• Working knowledge of SQL, database concepts and cloud environments (AWS).
• Basic knowledge of Java and a solid grasp of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
