Uus IT‑õpetaja Algorithmics koolis

About the role

Algorithmics is looking for enthusiastic IT teachers to deliver our innovative programming courses to children and teenagers. You will work remotely or from home in Tallinn, delivering 90‑minute lessons to small groups of up to eight students.

Key responsibilities

• Teach one or more courses such as Python, Scratch, visual programming, game design, and digital literacy.
• Use Algorithmics’ proprietary teaching material and methodology while following the school’s innovative principles.
• Provide constructive feedback to students and support their parents.
• Prepare lesson plans and manage class schedules independently.

Required profile

• Higher education in engineering, computer science, IT or a related field (students in their 2nd year or later are welcome).
• Passion for working with children and teenagers.
• Experience with tutoring, camps, or volunteer events is a plus but not mandatory.
• Fluent Estonian (high level) and good English proficiency.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python and at least one additional programming language (Java, C++, C#).
• Knowledge of Scratch and visual programming concepts.
• Ability to use Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar, Drive, Gmail).
• Strong command of Microsoft Office applications.
