Borescope Inspector

About the role

Magnetic Group is seeking a qualified Borescope Inspector to join its Engineering Services team. The position is based in Tallinn, Estonia with a hybrid work arrangement, supporting aviation customers by ensuring engine airworthiness.

Key responsibilities

• Perform borescope inspections on CFM56 and V2500 engines, examining turbine, compressor and combustion sections for cracks, foreign object damage, wear and contamination.
• Conduct general visual inspections (GVI) when required and document findings with images, video and technical write‑ups using digital reporting systems.
• Coordinate follow‑up actions with engineers, maintain inspection equipment and calibration records, and ensure compliance with EASA regulations.

Required profile

• Direct borescope inspection experience on CFM56 engines (‑5B and ‑7B variants preferred).
• Completed BSI Inspector training from P‑147 or an equivalent organization.
• Ability to travel on short notice, mainly within Europe.

Required skills

• Borescope inspection on CFM56/V2500 engines.
• Proficiency with GE Everest and Olympus IPLEX imaging systems.
• Interpretation of OEM maintenance manuals and inspection criteria.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
