Business Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to expand Icosagen Cell Factory’s global customer base, building strong relationships with biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies and matching their R&D needs with our service portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Master Icosagen’s service portfolio and present capabilities to prospective clients.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships across biotech and pharma.
• Identify customer R&D needs and where Icosagen can add value.
• Partner with scientists to prepare tailored technical and commercial proposals.
• Represent Icosagen at conferences and trade shows across Europe.
• Visit customers regularly to strengthen relationships and grow the business.

Required profile

• MSc or PhD in Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry or a related field.
• Strong understanding of drug discovery and development across the pipeline.
• Experience in international business development, technical sales or account management in biotech, pharma or life sciences.
• Excellent communication, relationship‑building and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong customer focus, commercial mindset and willingness to travel internationally.
• Outstanding written and verbal English.
