Estonian LQA Game Tester – Remote Freelance

About the role

As a Localization QA (LQA) Game Tester you will be the first to see the fully localized version of a game, including translated text, images and UI. You will work with a multilingual project team to ensure the game is free from grammatical errors, cultural inconsistencies and that the localization matches the target language perfectly.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with a global project team to identify and correct spelling, grammar, punctuation and other language errors.
• Verify that the game follows console manufacturer guidelines and that dates, calendars and character displays are correctly formatted.
• Log detailed error reports, suggest improvements and write clear bug reports.
• Ensure translation accuracy within context and maintain consistency of terminology and imagery.
• Identify missing or incorrect content and perform ad‑hoc translation checks.
• Contribute to overall project success by reviewing your own work and supporting teammates.

Required profile

• Fluency in Estonian and English with strong cultural understanding of Estonian.
• Computer literacy, especially proficiency with Excel.
• Robust internet research skills and ability to use various software, applications and websites.
• Excellent attention to detail and clear, concise communication.
• Ability to work collaboratively within project teams.
• Candidate must be located within Europe; no prior experience required.
