Foreman – Production Shift Leader

About the role

ABB is seeking a Foreman to lead the shift team at its Drives factory in Jüri, Estonia. You will ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality production while supporting continuous improvement in a fast‑paced industrial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and drive production performance against key metrics such as productivity, quality and delivery, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Plan and coordinate daily shift operations, including resource allocation and staffing to meet production targets.
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety and quality standards and promote a safe working culture.
• Lead, coach and develop team members, fostering skill development and cross‑functional flexibility.
• Identify and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives to reduce waste and optimise performance.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, quality and planning teams to resolve issues proactively.

Required profile

• Technical education is preferred.
• Prior experience in a production environment and/or team‑leadership role.
• Strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to coordinate across teams.
• Solid analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.

Required skills

• Good command of English and Russian (both written and spoken).
• Estonian language skills are considered an advantage.
