Head of Travel

About the role

We are launching a dedicated Travel business unit and need a senior leader to build, run and eventually spin it off as an independent P&L. The Head of Travel will shape partner strategy, product packaging and sales while overseeing day‑to‑day delivery for our concierge service.

Key responsibilities

• Build and lead the Travel unit from an internal centre of expertise to a self‑sustaining business.
• Define and execute partner and product strategy, negotiating with hotels, airlines, yacht operators and tour operators.
• Package itineraries, exclusive experiences and travel services for internal concierge sales and future direct client sales.
• Act as the primary internal contractor for the Service department, ensuring world‑class fulfilment of travel requests.
• Train and up‑skill concierge teams on travel offerings, product knowledge and client expectations.
• Own the unit’s P&L, drive revenue growth, manage margins and build the case for independence.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Customer Success to shape go‑to‑market strategy.

Required profile

• 5+ years in a senior leadership role at a travel agency, tour operator or similar (e.g., General Manager, Head of Operations, Founder).
• Proven track record of building and scaling travel products with full P&L ownership.
• Hands‑on experience across the travel product lifecycle: sourcing, contracting, packaging, pricing and distribution.
• Deep knowledge of travel supply side – hotels, tour operators, aviation/yacht providers.
• Strong B2B negotiation skills and experience managing partnership agreements.
• Entrepreneurial mindset comfortable with ambiguity and building a new business unit.
• Experience designing and delivering training programmes for client‑facing teams.
• Fluent in English (C1/C2) and Russian; luxury travel experience is a plus.
