IT Analyst

About the role

ERGO is looking for an IT Analyst who supports business units by advising on the use of IT and making sure business needs match technical solutions. The role works closely with software engineers, solution and technical architects and testers to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Refine and complete requirement documentation based on input from Business Analysts.
• Conduct system and gap analysis and keep IT specifications clear and consistent.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects and testers to ensure solution quality.
• Select methods for representing business and system requirements.
• Investigate and help resolve defects, escalating unresolved issues where needed.
• Contribute to solution component documentation and manage change requests.
• Ensure functional solutions are ready for implementation and deployment, and evaluate requirement stability and priority.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of system analysis outcomes and support external team members or vendors in analysis tasks.

Required profile

• More than 3 years of experience as an IT Analyst, Business Analyst or IT Project Manager.
• Solid understanding of the solution development lifecycle, including Agile/Scrum, and experience with cross-functional teams of business analysts, developers, architects and testers.
• Fluent English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• An advantage: experience in insurance or financial services, test design, third-party analyst coordination and enterprise architecture and IT security standards.

Required skills

• Requirements gathering, documentation and IT gap and impact analysis.
• Jira, Confluence, UML and BPMN.
• Good understanding of databases, data flows, application systems, integrations and interfaces.
