Junior Infra Platform Engineer

About the role

Bisly is looking for a motivated Junior Infra Platform Engineer to help build and maintain the cloud platform behind its intelligent building automation products. You will work alongside experienced engineers, contributing to Azure infrastructure, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines and observability while gaining hands‑on automation experience.

Key responsibilities

• Help maintain Azure and on‑premise server resources, provisioning using existing patterns.
• Maintain and extend existing GitHub Actions workflows.
• Assist with day‑to‑day platform operations, including deployments and troubleshooting.
• Write and modify Terraform modules following team conventions and participate in IaC reviews.
• Support developers with platform questions and handle first‑line internal requests.
• Apply security guidelines, flag issues and contribute small automation scripts.

Required profile

• Basic cloud exposure through coursework, home lab, internship or certification (Azure, AWS or GCP).
• Proficiency with Linux CLI, shell scripting, permissions, systemd and package management.
• Understanding of Kubernetes concepts and Docker images.
• Familiarity with Git and at least one CI tool.
• Basic knowledge of Terraform syntax and lifecycle.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP and firewalls.
• Curiosity, willingness to learn and good communication skills.
