Junior ML DevOps Engineer

About the role

You will join the Cyber Range team to build an AI/ML platform for developing state‑of‑the‑art cybersecurity agents. The role involves hands‑on infrastructure work in a security‑sensitive, classified environment, collaborating with internal and external R&D teams.

Key responsibilities

• Help build and operate AI/ML infrastructure, including GPU cluster management, Kubernetes, model registry and inference serving.
• Maintain reproducible, auditable environments using CI/CD and configuration management tools such as Ansible and GitOps.
• Support internal and external platform users through onboarding, troubleshooting and documentation.
• Deploy and benchmark open‑weight LLMs and other models on on‑prem hardware.
• Participate in planning with R&D leads to align infrastructure decisions with project goals, budget and schedule.
• Apply security‑by‑design practices in a classified environment, including hardening, isolation and compliance.

Required profile

• Solid Linux fundamentals and comfortable working on the command line.
• Familiarity with Git and basic scripting in Python or Bash.
• Hands‑on exposure to containers such as Docker.
• Ability to learn independently, ask good questions and document findings.
• Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
• Willingness to obtain security clearance and work on‑site in Tallinn (partial hybrid possible).
