Online Science Teacher – Environmental & Physical Science (Jan-Mar 2027)

About the role

A partner company is looking for an experienced Science Teacher to deliver live online lessons in Environmental Science and Physical Science to a small partner school class. The role is fully remote, fixed-term and runs from January to March 2027, with onboarding completed by December 2026. Lessons follow CET (Spain/Italy time zone), so it suits teachers comfortable with European schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging live lessons on ecosystems, sustainability, energy, forces and motion, matter and its properties, and human interactions with the environment
• Guide students through the scientific method: asking questions, simple investigations, recording observations and drawing evidence-based conclusions
• Use digital tools, virtual laboratories, simulations and interactive resources to create an effective online classroom
• Assess student progress, give constructive feedback and adapt teaching to individual needs
• Prepare homework, learning activities and assessments, and communicate regularly with students, families and the academic team
• Contribute to improving educational resources and the student learning experience

Required profile

• At least 5 years of teaching experience in a school setting; tutoring does not count
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Science, Environmental Science, Physics, Science Education or a related discipline
• Strong knowledge of Environmental Science and Physical Science
• Availability for the full January to March 2027 schedule
• Preferred: recognized teaching qualification, previous online teaching experience, experience teaching Environmental or Physical Science at middle/high school level, familiarity with international or U.S. curricula
