Product Owner – Accounts & Deposits

About the role

As a Product Owner for Accounts and Deposits at Luminor, you will drive the end‑to‑end lifecycle of core banking products. You will translate business needs into clear user stories, ensure product governance, and lead data migration and system upgrade initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Own business analysis and requirements management for accounts and deposits, producing user stories, specifications and documentation.
• Maintain product governance, traceability and alignment with target operating models.
• Lead data migration and reconciliation activities, including mapping, validation, exception handling and post‑migration verification.
• Drive delivery of system upgrades, regulatory changes and product enhancements, managing change and stakeholder communication.
• Manage JIRA boards, monitor progress, priorities and performance metrics.
• Monitor product performance through dashboards, KPIs and data quality checks, providing actionable insights.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis, resolve incidents and continuously improve processes.
• Collaborate with other Product Owners, IT teams and business units to align backlogs and ensure successful sprint execution.
• Support UAT, audits, regulatory reviews and business continuity activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in banking or fintech product development and lifecycle management.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear, structured requirements.
• Experience with large‑scale banking system migrations or transformation programmes.
• Strong understanding of Baltic banking regulations and compliance.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in Estonian.
