Program Manager – New Product Introduction (NPI)

About the role

The role owns whether new products actually make it from design into repeatable, qualified production — on time, to spec, and with every approval in place. We are looking for a Program Manager to lead New Product Introduction (NPI) from design confirmation through to full‑scale, qualified production.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end journey of new products from design confirmation to full‑scale production, including running readiness reviews (TRR/PRR).
• Drive the transition of manufacturing processes from prototype level to validated serial production, ensuring repeatability and process control.
• Manage product qualification and certification, obtaining required approvals such as NATO codification and transport classification.
• Own quality and compliance throughout implementation, embedding requirements into processes and maintaining technical documentation.
• Select and qualify suppliers and direct the work of external development partners.
• Act as the company's technical point of contact for customers, supporting proposals and reviews.

Required profile

• 5+ years of project or program management experience bringing physical products from development into serial manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of readiness review processes (TRR/PRR) and process validation for manufacturing transfer.
• Familiarity with product qualification/certification pathways; exposure to NATO codification and transport classification is a strong plus.
• Experience owning technical documentation and quality processes in a regulated environment (ISO 9001, AQAP, or similar).
• Proven ability to manage suppliers and external engineering partners.
• Strong communication skills in English and confidence engaging with customers and government stakeholders.
• Engineering, industrial, or technical background (systems, electronics, or production engineering preferred).
• Willingness to travel between sites, including international locations.
